FlexMR Shortlisted for Research Live Agency of the Year 2025

Written by Emily James | 03 October

We are beyond thrilled to announce that FlexMR has been named as a finalist for Research Live's Agency of the Year award for the second time - this is a prestigious award from the Market Research Society that recognises the best in the business for a variety of factors. Previous winners of the Agency of the Year award include Opinium, BritainThinks, and Kokoro, and FlexMR was shortlisted for the same award in 2023.

This year, MRS received over 260 entries across 27 award categories, and note that this year’s competition was incredibly tough, and the standard of submissions was exceptional. The MRS Awards ceremony where winners will be announced takes place on 1st December in the Grand Hall of Old Billingsgate, London.

The Agency of the Year Award

This category recognises excellence among the major players in research, the agencies that have stood out over the past year. It’s one of the flagship awards of the night and to win entrants must deliver excellence for their clients.

In the previous year, FlexMR has made significant cultural strides, delivered meaningful innovations that reshaped how clients embed customer insight into their decision-making processes, and continued to grow as an organisation.

Additionally, FlexMR’s innovation efforts have continued at pace. In 2024, FlexMR has launched a conversational survey interface, AI-enabled automated prompting, a Sprint Review programme for agile research, a multi-stage Consumer Duty research programme for the financial service sector and a forward-thinking client advisory board. Further, our synthetic data experiments with Aegon have been featured in Research Live, and our diagnostic testing experiments with UKHSA are in preparation for publication in the IJMR.

This is not the first award FlexMR has been shortlisted for. In 2024, FlexMR was shortlisted for the AURA Trusted Partner and Agency of the Year award, plus won the Most Inspiring Agency Speaker category. Insight Manager Lily Nawara was selected as a Significant Insights 30 Under 30 Honouree, and Laura Butterworth shortlisted for the Oppies Future Operations Leader award.

With outstanding performance, innovation, and purpose-driven culture, FlexMR strives to not just a great agency, but a future-ready one. An aim that is delivering strong results with each new quarter. Find out more about the MRS Awards ceremony on 1st December, the other awards and nominees now.
