FlexMR Insight as Art Shortlisted for AURA Innovation of the Year

Written by Chris Martin | 11 June

For Immediate Release: 09/06/2021. London, UK.

FlexMR’s new Insight as Art programme, designed to align business teams through creative outputs and engaging discussion, is a finalist for the AURA Innovation of the Year award 2021.

The latest addition to the FlexMR consultative service line has been shortlisted for the 2021 AURA Innovation of the Year award. The Insight as Art programme was developed off the back of the award-winning Insight as Art marketing campaign, which ran from 2019-2020 and revolves around the abstract presentation of consumer insight as a work of art.

The AURA Innovation of the Year award is award designed to encourage the insights industry to think about innovation as anything that helps deliver better insights or deliver insights better. This is the first year that AURA are presenting the award, and we are thrilled to be one of six agencies featured in the inaugural shortlist.

Chris Martin, Chief Marketing Officer at FlexMR, states, “The Insight as Art programme allows brands to embark on creative projects and organisation-wide transformations that heavily relies on stakeholder engagement. This new programme enhances our efforts to put the stakeholder relationship with insight at the heart of decisions, and enhance the influence of powerful insights throughout entire industries.”

Through the Insight as Art programme, insight teams and stakeholders are able to generate conversations, confirm and challenge existing business perceptions of customers, and encourages stakeholders to seek a better understanding of consumer opinions – this all works to engage stakeholders deeper in the research experience and enhance the role of insights within their organisation.

By presenting insights as art in the original marketing campaign, our team proved that visual outputs were more memorable and immediately more impactful than traditional reporting methods. Our innovative programme builds off this premise, providing stakeholders with greater access to our expertise as they explore emerging insightful themes and perform strategic organisational manoeuvres.

Now the shortlist has been announced, FlexMR and the five other nominees: Discover.ai, Flood & Partners, Kadence International, Lumen, and Trinity McQueen, will compete for the award at a live AURA online event on 30th June. Each shortlisted nominee will have 15 minutes to present their innovation to an audience of AURA members with a 5 minutes question and answer session at the end. We are looking forward to the final results announcement in London at the AURA Awards Dinner on 19th July 2021.

FlexMR’s CEO, Paul Hudson, says of the achievement, “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the AURA Innovation of the Year award 2021! It’s brilliant that the great potential of our Insights as Art programme has been recognised officially once again. We believe this programme can radically change the way stakeholders interact with and truly understand the value of insights and our industry.”
