To support accelerated growth and new platform innovations, FlexMR have welcomed Albert Van Jaarsveld, Benoit De Oliveira and Anthony Lau to the InsightHub development team.
After a successful year of growth and innovation, FlexMR have expanded the firm’s InsightHub development team by 12%. Anthony Lau joins the team as a Software Developer, while Albert Van Jaarsveld has been appointed Head of Development. This newly created senior position will help shape the vision and direction of the InsightHub platform.
Both appointments follow the addition of Benoit De Oliveira in 2021, who is a full-stack developer with experience in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Node.js, React and agile environments. The team expansion will enable FlexMR to both improve key features of the platform, such as video survey and focus group functionality, whilst bringing forward new tool development ambitions.
Albert brings an entrepreneurial spirit, technical capabilities and strong leadership qualities to the team. Previously, he has bootstrapped and grown a successful online store, served as a network technician and led the delivery of a major NHS project.
He said of his appointment, “I'm excited to join the friendly team at FlexMR. They have done some really good work that we are keen to build on. I hope together we can develop an increasingly scalable platform that will enable an accelerated rate of growth and that our global clients can continue to rely on.”
Anthony, as a University of York Computer Science graduate and full-stack developer, brings the skills that helped him build an automated product management system to the InsightHub platform. He commented, "It’s an exciting time to join the team. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the company that created and continue to push forward the market-leading InsightHub platform".
This expansion marks the first stage of FlexMR’s ambitions for the team, with plans to increase development capacity by a further 30% throughout 2022. Building on the success of the VideoMR tool and associated data collection tools over the past year, the firm aims to complete work on reporting, collaboration and insight communication tool ActivateMR by Q4. It is this commitment to cutting edge and practical innovation, informed by direct feedback from the FlexMR Client Advisory Board and strategic roadmap that enables the firm’s clients to realise the full potential of insights empowerment.
