FlexMR Launches InterviewMR Video Discussion Tool

Complementing the firm’s existing suite of data collection and analysis tools, InterviewMR enables researchers to quickly and easily set up in-depth video conversations.

InterviewMR is a purpose-built, video research tool capable of hosting both IDIs and focus groups with 20+ participants. Available immediately as part of the FlexMR InsightHub platform, InterviewMR is equipped with all the features insight teams need to conduct robust, in-depth qualitative discussions. From integrated session scheduling to HD video capture, interactive stimuli and AI enabled analysis – InterviewMR is a real qualitative research revolution.

InterviewMR’s in-built scheduling tool facilitates efficient workflow management for users, with researchers able to create samples and invite respondents to select from multiple available sessions, conduct video discussions and capture quality insights. This makes allocating and selecting respondents easier, taking part in research tasks more efficient, and enables the recruitment of accurately pre-profiled community members post-session. Insight teams can quickly convene sessions from amongst their panel and community members, or even invite non-panellists to take part in a one-off project, allowing for a broader pool of respondents to take part in focus group or interview tasks.

Moderators can easily add stimuli as discussion prompts both before and during the task itself; visual imagery and video, polls, and screensharing with live emoji reactions all work to inspire naturally evolving, insightful conversation. With annotation options available for media and screensharing features, researchers can generate quality qualitative insights for communications testing, UX testing, and more.

Respondent and stakeholder user experiences have been designed through user feedback. Participants start in a virtual waiting room with a logical user interface. Stakeholders also have use of a new ‘observer room’ similar to that of Zoom from which to watch and influence discussions live.

InterviewMR fully integrates with VideoMR on InsightHub; VideoMR is a video analysis tool that enables the collection, analysis and distribution of video content from across the platform. Video content from InterviewMR is automatically recorded and stored in VideoMR, enabling users to view, clip and distribute the content at will. Recordings are available in individual respondent screen view or group gallery views for faster, collaborative insight discovery and activation.

InterviewMR will replace the legacy Focus GroupMR tool in FlexMR's InsightHub platform. All clients will receive immediate access to InterviewMR and its expanded suite of features. Recordings from Focus GroupMR will continue to remain accessible in the VideoMR library.
