On June 13th, the FlexMR team will be collectively trekking 100 miles in support of Alzheimer's Society, with the goal of raising £500.

As part of the firm’s annual community day, the FlexMR team have taken up the challenge of trekking a collective 100 miles to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. The team aims to raise more than £500 by trekking from Wyresdale Park to Nicky Nook in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding National Beauty on Monday 13th June.
The 5-mile route will take the team from the Applestore Café in Scorton, through Park Brook, Grizedale Reservoir and culminating at the peak of one of the region’s most picturesque fells. The summit is famed for its views across Lancashire’s coastal plain and across the sea to the Isle of Man.
Pam Taylor, Managing Director of FlexMR, said, “Every three minutes, somebody in the UK is told they have dementia. But dementia won’t win. Alzheimer’s Society is doing everything they can to find a cure, but they need our help. That’s why we have decided to tackle this group challenge and lend our support to the cause.”
