Customer Salience Insight Driven Decision-Making
On Wednesday 8th May, Paul Hudson and Danny Russell will be exploring all about Customer Salience and the internal challenge insight teams face when seeking to have a long-term, meaningful impact on stakeholder decision-making. In this illuminating session, Paul and Danny will introduce how Customer Salience – a new approach to understanding the value of research based on the fundamental principles of marketing – is powering customer-led transformation and imbuing insight teams with the confidence to change organisational culture for the better.

Market Research Room 101: What Will You Banish?
On Thursday 9th May, Paul and Danny will be taking part in a new rendition of the Market Research Room 101 panel-style gameshow as opposing team leaders for the second time. Following on from the success of the MRS Annual Conference, Lucy from Keen as Mustard will host another Room 101- based gameshow panel with entirely new aspects to debate and banish.
Danny's Team comprises of Shehnaz Hansraj from Viking Cruises and Zoe Dowling from Microsoft, while Paul's Team features Louise Sharpe from BT and James Sallows from the LEGO Group. Each member of both teams will put forward their most reviled aspect of market research, argue their case, defend their position from the arguments from the opposite team, and then the panel audience will decide whether they would also like to banish the aspect of market research to the industry's own Room 101.
