Amy Greenwood Honoured on GreenBook GRIT Future List

Amy Greenwood GRIT Future List

For Immediate Release: 12/02/2020. London, UK.

FlexMR’s Head of Research & Insight, Amy Greenwood, has been nominated and honoured to be a part of The GRIT Future List created by GreenBook and a panel of independent judges.

The GRIT Future List recognises leadership, professional growth, personal integrity, and a passion for excellence in the next generation of insights creators, users, and marketers. The full list highlights just 16 rising leaders from across the insights industry, and can be found in GreenBook’s GRIT Report.

Greenwood has worked in the research industry for nearly ten years, and in that time, she has managed numerous research projects, overcome scores of challenges, and developed many goals for the future of both her professional career and the future of FlexMR. More recently, she is driven through the success of her team, who under her watch have conducted high-profile global research to an impressively high standard.

Paul Hudson, FlexMR’s Chief Executive Officer, said, "Amy is, and always has been, a credit to our organisation; she is actively involved in moulding our future, and the future of our staff too. Recently, we have been excited about the steps she has taken to overhaul our reporting offer by introducing a wider range of formats to engage stakeholders, and to see the effects of her team development programme for our insights team.”

Greenwood has gained a more public presence since taking to the stage in 2018 at the Market Research Society’s (MRS) UK IMPACT conference, and is a well-known advocate within the FlexMR organisation of diversified skillsets and taking important career-progression opportunities within the insights industry; opportunities such as networking events and thought leadership contributions.

But her advocacy isn’t just for career progression, Greenwood is a firm believer of the success that comes from team cohesion and employee wellbeing, with a number of physical and mental health initiatives in the firm organised by her. It is for these reasons, and many others, that Amy was nominated for The GRIT Future List. Other nominees include Alyon Amedelyan of Thematic and Nihal Advani of QualSights.

The GRIT Report that this Future List is contained within takes a look at the inner workings and evolving nature of insights organisations, and the ever-changing role that insight professionals play within the business world. This issue also features popular methodologies, emerging tech, and what matters most in supplier selection, investment priorities for researchers, the evolving role and activities of researchers, buzz topics such as automation and AI, and more. Update: As part of The New How of Insights piece, WIRe spoke to a number of female leaders on the GRIT Futures List, including Amy. On the topic of how to reinvent the industry, Amy highlighted an organizational turn toward culture-focused, creative research practices.

Amy said, "My team and I are always pushing at the boundaries of what we believe can be improved. Our work is focused on changing the cultures of organizations to base more decisions on data and to actively seek to engage market research before embarking on new journeys."
