Meet the FlexMR Team at Quirk's London 2025

FlexMR is delighted to be both attending and speaking at the 2025 Quirk's London event on 7-8th May. FlexMR’s CEO, Paul Hudson, will be attending the event as a speaker, and will take to the stage at 11:30am on Thursday 8th May to discuss the prevalent challenge of the ‘Customer Gap’, how it impacts insight experts in all industries, and how we can create lasting competitive advantage in stakeholder businesses.

Maria Twigge, Muneera Belim and Michael Connor will also be attending the event to network with other industry professionals in the other fascinating talks and at the dedicated FlexMR booth (211). As well as participating in the fascinating discussions and connecting with industry professionals, the FlexMR team will be taking advantage of the opportunity to meet with clients who have also attended the Quirk's event and conduct a London-based Client Advisory Board meeting.

Solving the Customer Gap Quirk's London 2025

The Customer Gap is a crucial issue impacting all insight experts in all industries, with very few managing to overcome this challenge to create a lasting culture of Customer Salience in their stakeholder organisations. Due to this challenge, UK customer satisfaction scores have been in steady decline, and less than 15% of executives believe their organisations are achieving their customer-centric goals.

In his Quirk's presentation, Paul will outline how the gap between belief in customer focus and measurable customer outcomes has not been caused by a lack of research into consumer decision-making, but rather by the overlooked role of organisational decision-making. Overcoming this gap requires a return to marketing fundamentals, a closer and lasting connection to customers, plus decision-making practices that prioritise customer-think over company-think.

Creating a lasting competitive advantage doesn’t simply rely on a better understanding of customers. It must be complemented by a robust, inward-looking understanding of how businesses make customer-centric decisions.
