Saffron Building Society is focused on delivering personal, meaningful experiences to its members that meet their everyday needs. But this mission must be fulfilled whilst navigating a highly regulated and evoling financial services landscape. As part of their ongoing commitment to putting members at the heart of decisions, Saffron Building Society sought to expand their insight function. Finding the right technology and services partner was a crucial part of that journey.

In this interview, we speak to Jimmy Paraskevas, CX and Insight Manager at Saffron Building Society, about how the partnership with FlexMR began and how the Members’ Room insight community now sits at the heart of the organisation's customer understanding.

 

Following a comprehensive stocktake of their research suppliers, Jimmy was impressed with FlexMR’s approach, technology, and collaborative mindset. The FlexMR team even attended one of Saffron’s internal strategy meetings and, based on the building society's key business objectives, built a tailored calendar of support to align with core priorities.

Jimmy also shares reflections on how technologies like InsightHub are helping the financial services industry evolve: by enabling agile research, offering access to multiple methodologies in one place, and fostering deeper, more iterative member engagement.
