Discover how FlexMR and the UK Health Security Agency partner to bring the Peoples' Pulse Panel, an agile research community panel used to get quick feedback from the British public about emerging and urgent health issues, to life.
The UK Health Security Agency have an important mission. The team are tasked with preparing for, preventing and responding to health threats, whilst building the nation’s health security capability. Since the establishment of the department in 2021, they have aimed to proetect the public from a range of infectious diseases, chemical and biological threats - strengthening health resilience by working with government, NHS, local authorities, and international partners.
The role of insight in this context is to strategically understand public perception of current threats, health issues and preventative measures, feeding into key conversations with stakeholders across the public sector. In this interview, we speak to Virginia Bertelli, Senior Insights Manager at UKHSA, about the role of insight in her work - and how the Peoples' Pulse Panel supports it.
In the interview, Virginia shares a key example of how InsightHub and the Peoples' Pulse Panel have enabled UKHSA to quickly and robustly test health awareness communications. This access to a wide and representative array of public voices enabled the team to make practical recommendations for improvements and hone messages without delaying publication.
Throughout the interview, hosted by Danny Russell, we also explore a broad range of other topics, including the role of inclusivity and accessibility in market research - and how the industry can take steps to improve it. Watch the full interview to find out:
