The Year of Joy Spread Happiness With Online Community Panel

The Year of Joy Spread Happiness With Online Community Panel

Find out how the Art and Science of Joy are working to create a more joyful world through online market research. With a dedicated community panel of participants wanting to live more joyful lives and a content calendar with a new facet of joy each week, they are changing their participants' lives for the better.

The Art and Science of Joy was founded by Andrew Cannon and Debby Schlesinger-Hellman in a mission to incite more joy and optimism in the world. By leading more joy-filled lives, people are able to do more good not only for themselves, but also for other people as well as for the planet.

But out of all the positive feelings we experience, joy is one of the hardest to capture for any length of time. This is because with increased connection through technology and media, we are continuously exposed to fear and negativity. To counteract this, the Art and Science of Joy created the Year of Joy project for participants to use as a roadmap to building their own joy.

With a community of participants needing to focus on carefully created tasks to increase their wellbeing, positive impact, sense of belonging and fun, Andrew and Debby chose the to partner with FlexMR's InsightHub to host the community part of their Year of Joy research project. Read the study to find out:

  • How they implemented a year-long project to directly influence participants' lives
  • How to maintain participant engagement in a year-long project
  • How to use a variety of tools and methods to engage customers on intangible emotional topics
  • The impact of a dedicated community panel to better understand the art and science behind joy
